Skin Tag Removal
A skin tag is an excess of skin tissue that hangs off the skin as a flap with a connected stalk. They are most typically found in body folds such as the neck, armpits, under the breast, and groyne area. They can also be present on the back and the chest. Skin tags are more common in women than in men, in the elderly, and in persons with a high BMI.

Skin tags are normally painless. However, they can become inflamed if anything rubs on them, such as clothing, jewellery, or skin.

Skin tags are eliminated by burning the tissue precisely using an ablative CO2 laser or radiofrequency (RF) ablation.
Procedure steps include:

-
The area has been completely cleaned.
-
For pain alleviation, local anesthetic is injected.
-
The equipment burns the lesion layer by layer.
-
During the procedure, there may be some bleeding, which is managed by pressure hemostasis.
-
An antibacterial cream is used.
